The Story
Jenny Rieu is a Parisian-born interdisciplinary visual artist and creative director whose work centers on performance, photography, and cinematic storytelling. She draws inspiration from vintage glamour while remaining grounded in contemporary narrative.

2013 — Early reference points included figures such as Dita Von Teese, whose approach to controlled glamour informed Jenny's initial visual language.
Over the past decade, she has fronted campaigns for Apple Vision Pro, Wacoal, Curvy Couture, Shapermint, and Ulla Popken, establishing herself as a trusted face across both commercial and intimate apparel markets.

In 2016, she expanded into creative direction, beginning with a lingerie campaign for Harlow & Fox. Since then, she has led visual narratives for brands including Bésame Cosmetics (in collaboration with the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation), Nubian Skin, and Jane Woolrich, developing work that prioritizes mood and character over straightforward product display.
Described by Millennial Magazine as “Hollywood glam meets body-positive fashion,” her visual signature merges vintage glamour with contemporary empowerment.

Early 2000s — Top three finalist in the French Concours Sable Noir, a television writing competition inviting emerging writers to develop original suspense stories for the Sable Noir TV series.
2001- TV Debuts hosting the CastingLive on Fun TV.
2010 —Created the Lady in Red cabaret production in Los Angeles, laying the foundation for her cinematic femme fatale aesthetic.
2014 — Composer and performer of ‘Pâtisserie' for the award-winning documentary Let Them Eat Cake, which received international festival recognition including Best Documentary Feature at the Paris Independent Film Festival.
2014 — Commercial modeling debut with the “Couture for Everybody” campaign for Pinup Girl Clothing
2016 — Creative directed her first global campaign with Harlow & Fox; founded Ooh La La PR & took on The Pretty Dress Company as her first PR client
2018 — Created and hosted the first body-positive panel at Curve Expo New York, the leading lingerie trade show in North America
2021 — Featured on the national cover of Car Kulture Deluxe Magazine as the publication's first plus-size cover model
2022 — Creative director, model, and producer for the Bésame Cosmetics × Ella Fitzgerald Foundation campaign
2023 —Lead talent in the global launch campaign for Apple Vision Pro
2025 —Founded Studio des Muses, a boutique creative direction studio focused on visual storytelling, editorial production, and brand identity.

Her work has been featured in Ebony, Essence, InStyle, Paris Match, HELLO! Magazine, BuzzFeed, Millennial Magazine, and The Body Optimist.
